Easter Special With Real Bunnies

Where did the year go? We are now scheduling Easter Portraits with real bunnies!

With the weather finally getting cool it may be difficult to think about shopping for your Easter bonnet but Easter is March 23, 2008. So we are already getting into the swing of spring! This year our backdrop will be spring pastels. Clothing choices should stay in the pastel family and have as little pattern or design as possible.
Available Dates are:
Tuesday, January 29 from 10:00 to 6:00
Wednesday, January 30 from 4:30 to 6:20 and
Saturday, February 2 from 9:00 to 6:00.
Appointments are VERY limited. Sessions will last 20 minutes. There is a one pose - $40 minimum print purchase at $10 per sheet discounted pricing. (The same as Christmas)

Please be aware that our baby girl is due February 27, so there may be a replacement photographer for this special.

December Sessions are all booked up and all orders for Christmas should have been in last Friday. If you would like to give photos as Christmas gifts but were too late you can call for our gift certificates. They make great gifts! 985-414-5554.

November/ December Updates

Christmas Special Sessions
They're all here! Portraits from our Christmas special that were not picked up today can be picked up Monday between 3:00 and 6:00. Our Christmas pictures were a great success. If you missed out, please be ready to call December 3 to schedule your bunny pictures. We have VERY limited sessions because it is so close to my due date. We are arranging to have a backup photographer- just in case! We hope our little girl doesn't come too early!

Orders In Time for Christmas
Photographs make GREAT gifts and we have had several requests for orders to be ready in time for Christmas. In order to have your portraits in for Christmas, please have your order placed by Friday, November 30. There is about a 3 week wait on orders right now, so please plan accordingly. Don't forget about our gift certificates.

Thanksgiving & Christmas Holiday
We will be out of the studio for the Thanksgiving holiday from Thursday, November 22 through Sunday, November 25. We will reopen Monday, November 26.
We will be out of the studio for the Christmas holiday from Thursday December 20 through Tuesday, January 1. We will reopen Wednesday, January 2.

Availability
Our next available appointments for regular sessions are Thursday, December 13 and Tuesday, January 8. We are taking baby clubs ONLY on January 24, 25, 26 and February 4, 5, 8, 9, 11, and 12. If you want NEWBORN or MATERNITY portraits please call for our special availability dates in addition to those listed above. Newborn sessions should take place as soon as possible and are best when taken before Baby is 2 weeks old.

Easter Special With Real Bunnies
We begin taking appointments for our Easter special on Monday, December 3. Appointments are VERY limited. We will take appointments for Tuesday, January 29 from 10:00 to 6:00, Wednesday, January 30 from 4:30 to 6:20 and Saturday, February 2 from 9:00 to 6:00. Sessions will last 20 minutes. All of our available dates for Saturday sessions for 2008 are posted on our website. If you need a Saturday please plan ahead by looking at our calendar and scheduling early.

For all Christmas sessions please have your children dressed and ready to go at your scheduled time. Due to the nature of these events, sessions are limited and will not be able to be rescheduled.

We've Been Busy!

There have been so many changes and there are so many events happening!

Where do I start?

New Site

Well the new site is still under construction but I think it looks great so far! Our deadline for launching the finished site is September 27, 2007. I am excited to hear what you all think of the progress- after all, you are the heart and soul of Joan Delatte Photography- Let us know what you like and what you wish were different!

Christmas Special

We will begin scheduling Christmas Special Sessions on October 1. This is our most popular special – Don’t miss out! Please don’t email for an appointment. It’s much better to call and if we can’t answer, leave a message with your desired appointment date and time. We will get back to everyone in the order that the calls are received!

Maternity Leave

If you haven’t heard the GREAT news yet, we’re having a baby! Our little bundle is due February 27, 2008. If you are in our baby club and one of your sessions falls between January and March, please call as soon as you can to book your appointment. Please know that any sessions booked close to my due date will be tentative and rescheduled if needed. Don’t worry, if you are in our baby club we will take care of you. Just call soon so you have a better choice of sessions.

Fall Special

What a great one! Everyone loved our cute backdrop. We had fantastic fall outfits despite the warm weather and really cool costumes from scarecrows to princesses of all kinds!
